Malaysian Partisan Politics.

In Malaysia, nothing separates us like politics. The division among us is huge as can be seen in the blogs and other form of media. In the blogs there are two type of blogs, the pro-government or anti-government.In the newspaper the government run newspapers are always superbly bias towards the government and in the opposition papers there are superbly bias towards the opposition. So for those in the middle who are representing your voice? In the UK there is the Independent newspaper that is considered not biased towards the government or opposition,so the people there can make an informed decision as voters on which who should govern the country, how about Malaysia?Constantly we are feed with news that the political parties want us to hear,so we are incapable to judge between right or wrong. The agenda is not the people agenda, but the political parties agenda.Action that are morally wrong like corruption and street protest are justified by these political parties through their newspapers, and the story are told in such a way to justify their act and demonised the others.

In the blogs,Malaysia final line on freedom of expression the blogsphere(which is diminishing day by day) has been effected to by this. The supporters of political parties blindly supported the actions of their chosen parties whether the actions are right or wrong, and those who stood in their way will get tramped by nasty comments, sometimes the individual will be insulted and the insult is promoted by the blog owners.I'm sure that whatever we disagree with, there are common ground that we can find.No matter what, corruption is never right and supporters of whatever political parties should condemned the practice, whoever is practicing them.Street protest is not good for the country,as it will effect the stability of the nation therefore it should be condemned to by all Malaysians no matter who commits them.So the blogs that are operated by supporters of these political parties shouldn't justify these acts blindly.Ideas that are deemed to be siding a political party over the other will be bombasted by nasty comments ridiculing the idea although the idea is a good one, where as the idea propagated by the political parties or it's supporters that are seem disastrous to the nation are supported blindly by other supporters and there is no room for disagreement, either you are with us or against us,no cooperation what so ever.I think we should keep our mind open to any ideas so they are good for the well being of the Malaysian people, irrespective of where the idea comes from or which political parties it benefit.

Finally,I believe that it is time for us to propagate what is best for Malaysia, not what is best for political parties as these country belong to all Malaysians irrespective of political ideologies or leanings. It is time that both of these political parties to work together for the benefit of all Malaysians. We can start by bringing these political parties together to talk about how can Malaysia face these economic crisis so that we can emerge unharmed and unscratched from it.I suggest that both side of the media to invite the other side representatative so taht the other side of the story can be haerd.Forums should include both political parties representatives so that we can together discuss issues that are affecting Malaysian such as the rising crime rate and others and together we will find solutions to these problems,we implemented it together and achieve success for Malaysia together, isn't that a beautiful thing to achieve for the sake of our beloved country Malaysia.
(PS as you can see from my blog articles,I'm not by-partisan either,so these call is for me and the rest of us who are to passionate about the ideals that our political parties are bringing, that we tend to forget about the Malaysia's ideal).
